A safe space to explore and address the challenges that arise on your sobriety journey

eft tapping circle online group

Join our Online EFT Tapping Circle, a supportive virtual community designed specifically for individuals who are sober or alcohol-free, regardless for how long.

Starting July 2025, this group is a safe space where we will explore and address the challenges that arise on your journey to maintaining sobriety. Through the powerful technique of Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) tapping, we will work together to identify and release emotional blocks, stressors, and triggers that may threaten your progress.

In each session, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with others who share similar experiences, fostering a sense of camaraderie and understanding. Together, we will tap on various issues that may surface, helping you to cultivate resilience, emotional balance, and a deeper commitment to your sober life.

The beauty of EFT is that you will be able to “borrow benefits” from the session even if we are tapping on someone else’s emotional challenges.

Join us as we empower each other and enhance our recovery journey through the transformative practice of EFT tapping.

Please note:

This circle is not intended for addressing traumas or highly emotional events. Episodes of this nature need 1:1 attention and it would not be ethical of me to work on those during a group session. If traumatic memories come up, they will be dealt with the use of gentle techniques which have the aim to decrease the emotional charge so that the person can feel emotionally regulated again. Even though the traumatic event will not be processed during the group session, the individual will be able to book a separate session with the practitioner if they wish to do so.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to be sober/alcohol free in order to attend this group?2025-03-23T14:22:26+00:00

Yes. This group is for people who are already sober, regardless of how long they have been. If you need help to stop drinking and would benefit from 1:1 support , please feel free to visit my website at www.soberrebel.co.uk and book a consultation with me.

Do I need to have done EFT or Tapping before in order to join the group?2025-03-23T14:22:20+00:00

No, you don’t. At the start of each session, I will ask everyone if they are familiar with EFT, I will make a brief introduction of how the group works and will go over the tapping points.

Do I have to participate in the group?2025-03-23T14:22:14+00:00

No, you don’t. You can participate as much or as little as you’d like to. At the start of each session, I will ask if there are people who have a particular issue that they would like to tap on and I will tap with them whilst everyone else can borrow benefits from the session.

What do you mean by “borrowing benefits”?2025-03-23T14:22:55+00:00

Borrowing Benefits in EFT refers to the practice of decreasing the intensity of your own issue as you tap along while watching another person working on their issue. This is one of the greatest advantages of tapping in a group.

I can’t attend for 90 mins, can I leave the group before?2025-03-23T14:23:29+00:00

Yes you can. If you are unable to stay for the full 90 mins, it is not a problem and you can leave the session when you need to.

What if I have something I’d like to tap on but I don’t want to share personal information?2025-03-23T14:24:07+00:00

This is not a problem at all. If there is something you’d like to tap on, we can definitely do that without the need for you to share personal details.
