Is this for you?

Is this for you?

What’s involved in your sobriety journey

I offer a safe and supportive environment where you can explore the feelings and emotions that have contributed to your alcohol dependence. These emotions may be difficult to manage on your own and they might have led you to think of alcohol as a temporary solution to them and which are stopping you now from moving forward.
By tapping, I will help you safely acknowledge and process those emotions and thoughts. By doing that, you will gain a fresh perspective around alcohol and develop healthier ways to live a life without being dependent on anything outside of your own self.

All the sessions are online. EFT works as well remotely as in person, and you will be in your home.

We will continuously tap together during all the sessions, mirroring each other. In this way, you will learn how to tap on yourself, and I will also encourage you to tap in between sessions to make our work together more effective.

Testimonials

“The sessions I have had have been incredibly supportive and the EFT tapping has been highly effective for releasing negative and stuck emotions linked to my personal reasons for drinking. Ilaria knows exactly when it’s OK to explore an emotion and when not to. When it came to my ‘Day 1’ after tapering my alcohol intake, I was fretful and on edge with feelings of potential failure and ‘what if’s’ before I had even started my alcohol free journey! Ilaria helped to focus me and release these feelings and Day 1 was a breeze. I am currently 6 weeks’ sober and feel more positive about my future non-drinking self than I have been in the whole of my adult life. I can absolutely recommend Sober Rebel for anyone who wants a targeted and effective approach to exploring the reasons behind why they drink and those wanting to moderate or stop entirely.”

“The moment my consultation ended, I was certain that Ilaria was the right fit for me. I felt at ease with her right from the start, which is a rare experience for me because I find it hard to trust people. She has guided me through so much, and the process has been truly transformative. I decided to take my time and have as many sessions as necessary, as I was ready to move away from quick fixes. EFT has been very effective for me, and Ilaria is an expert in the field. I wholeheartedly recommend her.”

I approach the work we do together as a collaborative partnership.
My work is client-led. You are in the driving seat and will decide where you want to go. I will be beside you to facilitate the change you will initiate.
I will gently challenge you for you to make progress towards your desired outcome.

How else might your benefit?

Many turn to alcohol to cope with unpleasant emotions and traumas. EFT effectively addresses stress, anxiety, trauma, depression, and more. Together, we can tackle all of these issues, whether they are linked to alcohol or not.

My aim isn’t to push you to quit drinking but to validate your feelings and thoughts on the matter.

If you’re ready to quit, we’ll set a sobriety date and navigate challenges as they arise.

For those seeking moderation, we’ll work toward that goal after a sober period, maximizing your chances of success with a jointly crafted plan.

As your Sobriety and Recovery Coach, I’m going to equip you with powerful somatic tools to address the root causes of your alcohol dependence, such as stress, anxiety, trauma and other underlying issues. These practices can then become part of your toolbox that you can use throughout your life to manage difficult emotions healthily, reducing the temptation to turn to alcohol as a coping mechanism.

We may not be a good fit if

  • Expect talking therapy – talking is a part of our sessions, but not the main one. It is proven that the best results come from doing the tapping whilst we focus and talk about specific issues, the feelings, the thoughts and the emotions connected to them.
  • You want a quick fix – it might take very few sessions, but sometimes it might take a few months, especially if there is trauma involved; what I can promise you is that I will do my very best to get you there as safely and as quickly as possible.
  • Too many things are happening in your life, and you don’t have the time and money to invest in yourself right now. And that’s okay.
